Stop sitting there waiting for things to return to “normal”. Normal doesn’t exist anymore. It’s time for you to start writing your next chapter, planning your next moves, and start making those moves. Here are five mindset adjustments you need to make today to get back on your path to success.
Face it. It’s time to be brutally honest with yourself. Recognize that things are not right — right at this very moment. The plans you made in January aren’t really relevant anymore. Accept that and get ready to move on.
Find and focus on solutions. Your customers and your prospects have the same problems that you have right now. As you start new habits and daily activities to build relationships while socially distanced, think about how you can apply what you’re learning to help your clients solve these same problems.
Put yourself out there and pull yourself back up. This requires courage, strength and endurance. Don’t be afraid to stumble, fall or get knocked down. Just be resolved to always get back up. Get very clear on your vision and start working on it. Now.
Avoid excuses. Put your heart into it and pursue it. Life gives the test first and then the lesson. Amaze yourself with your own determination and can-do spirit. Don’t be afraid to be passionate about helping others rise.
Just Do It! (apologies to Nike). Rise up and realize the blessings of the dark night and the potential of the new day. There will be a time when you’ll look back at 2020. Make your future self proud of how you handled it. Starting now.
With your constant commitment to make daily improvements and create positive habits, and a heart for helping others you will discover opportunities that you never dreamed of before and have the chance to make them your new reality.
To RISE requires Resilience, Inspiration, Service and Excellence. Build these attributes into your day and get ready to thrive.
