ETS Express Opens New Production Facility in NC
ETS Express has opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution facility in Concord, NC. The new facility will substantially increase ETS Express’s decorating and distribution capacity and play a significant role in supplying its products to customers shipping to the Midwest, Northeast, and South regions of the U.S. This will provide shorter shipping times and lower freight costs than products shipping from its West Coast facilities in Oxnard, CA.
The newly-constructed facility consists of over 152,000 square feet of combined office, production, and warehouse space that is designed to accommodate future growth. With this addition, ETS will more than double its current production capacity by the middle to end of 2016. "This exciting expansion of our family-owned business to this area truly signifies our East Coast customers' support and loyalty to our company over the last 30 years while we operated solely from the West Coast. We can now serve them better and repay them for that loyalty by building a beautiful production facility in their own backyard," said Sharon Eyal, chief executive officer of ETS Express. "We've had plans to expand our production operations to the East Coast for several years and we are very happy with our decision to invest in the Charlotte area. We firmly believe that it provides us the perfect location for our expansion and we plan to add more than 200 jobs to the local economy in the next 18 months. "ETS Express has been running preliminary production on customer orders over the past couple months while opening this new facility. They will continue to run and ship as many East Coast bound orders as possible while expanding production capacity and incoming inventory. ETS Express plans to be fully operational with expanded production and shipping by June 2016.
